Ten, portrayed by Christian Ganiere, was a minor character in the fourth season of Stranger Things. He was one of several test subjects experimented upon at Hawkins Lab by Dr. Martin Brenner and was among those who were killed by One on September 8, 1979.
History[]
Ten was a test subject in Hawkins Lab. He was presumably taken away from birth and possessed psychic powers, similar to that of Hawkins Lab's first test subject, One. On September 8, 1979, Ten was practicing remote viewing with Dr. Brenner. Ten successfully visualized the sun, which had been drawn by Dr. Brenner. Next, Dr. Brenner drew a dog. Due to Dr. Brenner's poor artistic skills, Ten reported that the animal that Dr. Brenner drew was a cow, amusing both of them.
Next, Brenner asked Ten to view what was happening in Six's room. Ten reported that Six and Dr. Ellis were in that room, and that Six was attempting to move a red block.
Suddenly, Ten became agitated and reported there was something wrong. The alarm began to sound. Outside, screams and commotion were heard. Ten informed Dr. Brenner that both Dr. Ellis and Six were dead. Then, the door to the room blew inwards with tremendous force, striking both Ten and Dr. Brenner, and rendering Brenner unconscious.
When Brenner regained consciousness, he discovered Ten had been killed with his arms had been twisted and his bones broken. Brenner embraced Ten's corpse before leaving the room to investigate what had happened.
Personality[]
Ten was seemingly a shy and reserved boy. He used a Magic 8 Ball to communicate and considered it to be his favorite toy. Ten was very loyal to Dr. Brenner and was willing to do some lessons with him in order to test his powers.
