In 1983, Steve drove his car to the Wheeler House to check on his girlfriend, Nancy Wheeler, only to find her in the company of Jonathan Byers.
1984[]
On October 30, Steve and Nancy sat in his car, going over his resume and their plans to have dinner with Barbara Holland's parents before they got out of the war, witnessing new students Max Mayfield and Billy Hargrove arrive at their respective schools.
1985[]
On October 4, Steve and his new friend Robin Buckley drove the car to Family Video to apply for jobs after the destruction of Starcourt Mall during their battle with The Spider Monster caused them to lose their jobs at Scoops Ahoy.
