Stacey Albright[1] is a minor character introduced in the second and third seasons of Stranger Things. She is a snobby student in the same grade as the Party.
History
1984
On December 15, Stacey attended the Snow Ball with her friends. While she was talking to her clique, a snazzed-up Dustin Henderson attempted to ask her to dance. Stacey laughed and said "no thanks" as she and friends walked away giggling. Later, she and her group watched in shock as Dustin danced with Nancy Wheeler.
1985
On June 30, Stacey went shopping at the Starcourt Mall. While in the shoe department, she, along with a few other girls, were annoyed when Eleven and Max Mayfield fell trying on heels as they tried them on for fun. Stacey and the girls gave Max and Eleven dirty looks, but they just laughed it off. Later, Max and Eleven spotted Stacey and her friends flirting with a boy outside of Orange Julius in the food court. Hiding behind a pillar, El used her telekinetic abilities to cause their drinks to explode all over them. While the group gawked in confusion, El and Max laughed and ran away before being seen.
Personality
Stacey appears to be arrogant and conceited, traits that are likely a result of, and fortified by, her popularity. A primary example would be when she rudely rejected Dustin for asking her to dance with him, and was later shocked to see him dancing with Mike Wheeler's older sister, Nancy Wheeler. Months later, her behavior seems to have not changed, as displayed by how she appeared amused by El and Max trying to walk in high heels.

Trivia
- Stacey's surname was revealed in the Hawkins Middle School Yearbook/Hawkins High School Yearbook. In the same book, she was shown to be voted as the "Most In-Demand Dancer", most likely as a reference to Dustin asking her to dance in "The Gate". Her favorite subject is Geography and when she is not studying she is learning new dance moves.
