Background[]
Paige was born between 1964 and 1965. She lived in Hawkins, Indiana with her family. Her parents, Hank and Julia Warner, and her little brother, Mark Warner, still lived in Hawkins in 1984, with her brother being a junior at Hawkins High during that year, as well as part of the baseball team.
In the winter of 1981, Paige witnessed the debut of Corroded Coffin on the stage of the Hawkins Middle School Talent Show.
1982[]
Paige graduated from Hawkins High School she moved out to Los Angeles, California, where she became a scout assistant at WR Music, a record label owned by Davey Fitzroy. Her position in the company remained uncertain until she succeeded to get a band signed at the label.
1984[]
Paige returned to Hawkins after the death of her grandmother to help sort out her deceased relative’s belongings. She heard Corroded Coffin perform at the Hideout and eventually agreed to give a chance to Eddie’s band.
She took Eddie to Live Mike Studio, a recording studio in Lafayette, and negotiated with the owner, Nate Caputo, a recording session for Corroded Coffin. Which she paid the deposit for.
After she sent Corroded Coffin’s demo to her boss, Paige met again with Eddie at the Hideout where she also met his dad, Al Munson. She announced to Eddie later that night that her boss liked his energy, but only his. He eventually agreed to go to California with her to audition solo, and they slept together.
Paige and Eddie started dating and, as Eddie prepared to leave Hawkins for L.A., Paige offered him to move in with her.
She invited Eddie over dinner with her family to meet her parents. Her dad approved of Eddie being related to Wayne Munson, however, when Paige’s little brother brought up the accusations of satanic worship surrounding the Hellfire Club, the Warners showed concern regarding Dungeons and Dragons.
Later, Eddie drove Paige to the airport where she took her return flight for L.A. Meanwhile, Eddie had planned to join her by road the following day.
Back in California, Paige recieved a call from Eddie at four in the morning. Eddie explained to her that he wouldn't be able to attend the audition because he was arrested and put into a cell in Hawkins Police Station, compromising both his future as a professional musician as well as her position at WR Music. They argued and put an end to their relationship.
Despite their break-up, Paige bailed Eddie out of jail and allowed him to walk free.
Personality[]
Paige was a smart, level headed and independent young woman. She loved going out and listening live music. She knew what she wanted in life and was not afraid to leave Hawkins to pursue her carreer of choice. Paige found her calling by working for a record label, despite the downsides of being chased after by musicians eager to get signed. She was a formidable negociator, and a generous benefactor (helping Eddie out financially several times).
Paige didn't care about what people might think of her in Hawkins and disregarded the rumors about Eddie's reputation, as well as the satanic allegations against the Hellfire Club.
Relationships[]
Familial[]
Hank Warner
Hank was a loving father, sharing inside jokes with her daughter.
Julia Warner
Paige inherited the freckles of her mother. They have a loving mother-daughter relationship.
Mark Warner
Paige and her little brother had a good relationship, even though they argued when their opinions on a matter differed.
Non-familial[]
Since Paige saw Eddie play with his band during the Hawkins Middle School Talent Show, she believed he had something special. When they met again in 1984, she told him that he had something "real" that her record label was looking for in the artists they were producing.
During their meeting at the Hideout, Paige was immediately attracted to Eddie. She was disappointed when he came to her again to talk about getting Corroded Coffin signed. However, she remained interested by Eddie and his life story.
They shared intimate conversations about their families and their love for music. They developped a relationship close to one of a boyfriend and girlfriend, without ever giving themselves those labels. The last time they saw each other, they kissed goodbye and confessed that they were going to miss each other.
Paige ultimately felt betrayed when Eddie was unable to show up for the audition she had managed to arrange for him.
