After Troy's arm was broken by a strange child with a shaven head, his mother took him to Hawkins Police Station to report what happened. She argued with officers Callahan and Powell about the way they were treating the situation and demanded to speak to Police Chief Jim Hopper, who told the officers to take a statement. When Troy described the girl's appearance, Hopper became immediately interested, asking for more information. Troy explained that the girl had telekinetic powers and that he always saw her around his classmates Mike, Lucas, and Dustin.
It is unknown if Troy told his mother that he provoked Eleven's attack or if he gave her an altered version of events.
Troy's mother strongly cared about her son. She argued passionately with the officers of Hawkins Police Department when she did not believe they were treating Troy respectfully. Despite her caring for her son, she appears to be an extremely poor mother in terms of morally educating her son, given her son's very anti-social, cruel and even violent personality, meaning she likely heavily spoils him and fails to discipline him adequately for his unacceptable behaviour. She also seems to rather demanding and arrogant, as she vehemently demands the police give her and son the utmost attention, despite them obviously having far more important tasks at hand, showing her selfishness.
- This woman was Troy's mother. She appeared to care very deeply for him as seen when she argued with the officers of Hawkins Police Department when she believed they were treating him disrespectfully. However, her parenting skills seems to be extremely questionable, given her son's less than angelic personality.
Hawkins Police Department
- When this woman took Troy to report an incident to the police, the officers of Hawkins Police Department did not take him very seriously. This made her angry with them.
