Lenora Hills, also known simply as Lenora, is a small town located in the US state of California.
History[]
1985[]
In the fall of 1985, the Byers family had relocated from Hawkins, Indiana with the help of Dr. Sam Owens.
1986[]
The town was noted to be small and quiet, though this changed when Jane Hopper assaulted Angela at the Rink-O-Mania and was arrested the day afterward. The Byers family also soon fled their house when it was raided by armed military personnel.

- Though it's set in California, the backdrop for Lenora Hills is actually Albuquerque and Los Lunas, New Mexico.
