The Kamchatka Peninsula is a Soviet peninsula located in Russia, across the Bering Strait from Alaska and within Siberia on the Pacific Coast. The region is also prone to snowfall due to being part of the wider Russian Far East.
The location was home to a prison camp for the Red Army.
History
1985
In 1985, the soldiers of the Red Army stationed at the camp fed a political prisoner to a Demogorgon from another dimension, although they withheld from sacrificing an American prisoner to the creature.
