Jack Thorne is an English screenwriter and playwright. He co-created the story for the play Stranger Things: The First Shadow, alongside Kate Trefry and the Duffer Brothers. He is known for writing contemporary plays and monologues such as Bunny, Mydidae, The Solid Life of Sugar Water, Let The Right One In, Hope, and Stacy, and has written for a number of television shows including Skins, Shameless, the This is England series, Glue, The Fades, Cast-offs, Don't Take My Baby, and Enola Holmes, among others. He also co-wrote Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.[1]
