Eugene McCorkle, portrayed by Al Mitchell, was a minor character in the second season of Stranger Things. He was a local farmer who owned a pumpkin patch in Hawkins, Indiana. Following a mysterious outbreak that resulted in several pumpkin patches being contaminated, he accused his rival Merrill Wright of having poisoned the patches.

After Merrill Wright claimed Eugene's involvement regarding the poisoning of his pumpkin patch, Eugene came to the Hawkins police station and provided alibi, denying any involvement in the event. Instead, he accused Merrill of poisoning his farm as well as the farms of several other farmers in Hawkins. He also showed Hopper the extent of the rot which had begun affecting nearby trees of the patch.[1]
