Agent Ellen Stinson, portrayed by Paris Benjamin, is a recurring character in the fourth season of Stranger Things.[1]

At some point, Ellen Stinson became an agent working under the employ of Sam Owens.
1986[]
Owens, accompanied by Agents Stinson, Harmon and Wallace, set out to locate Eleven and bring her to the Nina facility. They learned that Jane was in the custody of California police after assaulting another teenager. Owens and the agents intervened and assumed custody of Jane, interrupting her transferral to a juvenile detention center, and made it so the charges against Jane would be dismissed.
While Owens took Eleven to the Nina Project to restore her powers, Stinson, Harmon and Wallace travelled to the Byers residence in Lenora Hills, California. Stinson informed Jonathan Byers, Will Byers, and Mike Wheeler that Harmon and Wallace were being put in place to protect them, as they knew Colonel Sullivan and the U.S. military were actively searching for Eleven, putting the boys at risk.
Dr. Owens later called Stinson, telling her to protect The Party, as well as prepare transit from the Nina Project to Hawkins, Indiana, but the line was cut off by Nina Project employees loyal to Dr. Brenner.
Owens's ally Jim Hopper contacted Stinson from Yuri Ismaylov's warehouse in Kyrzran, Russia. Hopper asked Stinson where Owens was, and Stinson, not knowing Brenner had incarcerated Owens, said that he and Eleven were en route to Hawkins.
After Hopper's allies Dmitri Antonov and Yuri Ismaylov brought Hopper and his friends Joyce Byers and Murray Bauman back to the United States , Stinson then transported Hopper and Joyce to Hawkins.
Personality[]
Stinson appears emotionless and is extremely devoted to her work. However, she does have an understanding side, being compassionate to Mike, Will, and Jonathan.
