Cathy Owens, portrayed by Christine Kellogg-Darrin, is a minor character in the fourth season of Stranger Things. She is Sam Owens's wife.

At some point, Cathy married former head of Hawkins National Laboratory, Dr. Sam Owens. They have a son named Peter.[1]
1986[]
Military commander Lt. Col. Jack Sullivan raided the Owens' house, taking whatever he thought might help him in his investigation about mysterious deaths in Hawkins and a former test subject. Her pleas for Sullivan's men not to take Peter's old school projects were futile, and later, she and Sam watched as Sullivan's helicopter left.[1]

Cathy seems to be a very familial woman and cares deeply for her son. She is also somewhat resilient, standing up to the military.
