Bradley's Big Buy is a supermarket located in Hawkins.
History[]
1983[]
After deserting the Party, Eleven shoplifted several boxes of Eggos from the store. The manager Robert attempted to stop her, but she closed the automatic doors on him, nearly injuring him and causing the glass to shatter.
1984[]
The next year, Murray Bauman informed Chief Jim Hopper that an ex-employee of Bradley's Big Buy, presumably Robert, told him that a girl closed the automatic doors with her mind.
1985[]
When Eleven was bitten by the Mind Flayer's proxy, the Party broke into Bradley's Big Buy to get medical supplies to dress her wound. While they were there, Lucas Sinclair grabbed some fireworks that he planned to use as bombs against the Mind Flayer's proxy. When Mike Wheeler received a garbled Supercom transmission from Dustin Henderson, Eleven used her powers to locate him at the Starcourt Mall.
After the Party left, Billy Hargrove entered the store and saw Eleven's blood from the bite injury, which he used to track her and her friends down to the mall.
1986[]
Bradley's Big Buy is the last place where Janet Howard was last seen after the "earthquake" which tore through Hawkins and converged at the center of the town. The store may have been damaged or completely destroyed during the incident.
