Listen, No hate towards Finn. But I don't really like him as a character...and I don't think he is um..ya know. Billy, he's a horrible character that is played so well. I hate his well-played horrible character but I do like him. Eddie...Who doesn't love Eddie? Steve, He's just a fictional character?!? WHYYYYY????

No offense to anyone in this wiki who ships Byler, but I personally think it won’t happen for many reasons

• Ik mike he is my fav character and he would never break up with el just to date her brother. Also there’s no need for the writers to make him gay all of a sudden just to make some fans happy

• Mike breaking up with el to date will would affect her so much and she would be less motivated to fight putting her at more risk of death. A lot of Byler shippers I see on TikTok do not seem to acknowledge this at all

• The writers have been building up on mileven for so long for 4 seasons so there’s no point in byler being a thing in just a few episodes

• Just because mike makes eye contact with will in “a certain way” doesn’t mean he’s in love with him. How it is now is that every time a character looks into their eyes and smiles they have to be considered “endgame” like if Mike were to look in Nancy’s eyes like that it means he would be in love with Nancy? Their siblings and also that doesn’t make sense.

• Not every single character in the show has to be gay and in love with their best friend but will is an exception cause he’s diff from the others. Robin tho would also sort of count

Overall it is very clear that Mike would never date will because it means putting El in danger and after everything he did for her in the previous seasons it would be so ooc for him to forget all of that happened and date her brother. That’s going to put even more tension between them and El will be more likely to die. Also with s5 being the last season and there being so much to cover I don’t think there will even be many romantic scenes because there will be more upside down stuff and fight scenes. I hate how every time Mike and will have a scene tg ppl will say it’s “endgame”when they are just doing what normal friends do. Like give it a break. Byler will never happen in a million years.

At first i was completely in love with mileven, with the whole snowball things and all the SMOOCHING in s3

But then i looked closer and saw byler standing peacefully within the boundaries of the show (sorry terrible metephor i know) and was completely amazed. bc I love both mileven and byler

So yeah it’s okay to ship multiple people with the one of the same variables 🫠

I came into this fandom because of Byler so..you already know what ship I'm rooting for lol.

Anyway, I came here as a Byler shipper and was a Mileven shipper for a bit ( with Byler on the side ) but ultimately, I'm a Byler shipper.

So a lot of my reasoning is bc of Gayer Things on YouTube { check her out!! Her videos are amazing and really factual } and I based my shipping on that.

But some things I need to clear up:

• Yes, I am a lesbian but, that doesn't mean I only like the ship because it is a gay ship. I like it because I think they're right for each other and it's so fvcking cute ;>;

• I am not hating on Mileven. I am just saying how I feel. Mileven is still pretty cute tbh. Thou we gotta admit, its falling apart. I've seen people who do ship Mileven and admit that their relationship is crumbling.
