I actually have reason to belive El is still alive. 1. She went into Mike's mind. How could she do that if she were actually there and were getting hit with the kryptonite? 2. Her finger fizzled, like Kali's visions do sometimes. 3. She wasn't struggling to stand because of the kryptonite. 4. Her nose was not bleeding. 5. How could she get past armed guard's and seemingly teleport to the gate? 6. Derek waves back at Mike on the truck implying he couldn't see her. 7. They played 'Heros' by David Bowie in the credits and that is the song they play whenever there is a seemingly dead but still alive character,

They played this twice before:

When we thought Hopper was dead.

When they thought Will was dead in Season 1.

They play it whenever we think a character was dead. Chance? I think not.

I can't believe it's over. At least they are making spinoffs. Also, I DO think El survived because she couldn't have used her powers because of the kryptonite, and it showed us a scene of her finding the town, and the theory fits really well.
