Since it’s already confirmed argyle won’t return for s5 my theory was that he died as it would’ve been impossible to leave Hawkins to go back to California after the upside down is literally entering Hawkins and it’s unsafe so it wouldn’t have made sense that he somehow made it out of there alive also we never saw his reaction to the upside down entering the town
I don’t think mike and will fell badly. Jonathan def did cause he went from protective big brother to average high school stoner. Yes the three of them were involved in the least significant of the 4 storylines this season and didn’t rlly do much, but they had interesting character development. Mike still is the loyal best friend who holds his friend group tg but he also developed into an anxious teen who’s worried about his relationship issues. These are normal behaviors for someone his age and esp since he’s dating at a young age I wouldn’t call it bad character development. Also Will is still the shy conscious young boy he is and he developed into a closeted teenager who has hidden feelings for his best friend. IMO I don’t think this is bad but iryo

Finn and Noah were kind of in the least significant storyline in s4 so that’s kind of why you may think their lines were “poorly delivered” but they both had big monologues with very natural acting
