(I love Will and Dustin’s friendship, they’re massively underrated)
POV- Dustin confronts Will about his sacrificial tendencies. <Dustin found a note from Joyce to Hopper (note’s from post season 2). In the note Joyce is worried that Will isn’t telling her things because he doesn’t want to be a burden. She thinks he is sick of fighting all his life, and wants to end it.>
Will: When are you going to stop suggesting that I'm suicidal!?
Dustin: When you start acting like someone who wants to be alive.
Will: Hand me *that note*!
Dustin: Why?
Will: Because I'm not suicidal and if it says that, then it's wrong!
Dustin: What happened *3 years ago* when you *dropped the phone before going missing*?
Will: *I was scared and no one picked up*! You think I did that for kicks?!
Dustin: *You told us to close the gate when you knew it would kill you*!
Will: I was trying to save *the rest of you*!

I was watching Grey’s Anatomy right after watching Stranger things and thought this fit. It makes me really sad though :(
