^^Look, just stop being rude. Respect other people’s opinions if you want your opinions respected. Are you the creator of the show? No. So stop acting like you know the future and for sure whether it’ll be canon or not.
Wow, I got it completely correct. That’s the first time that happened during these kind of posts.
Running up that hill
@Averhoes It’s probably fanmade since it has a watermark on the side.
Billy - I agree
Kali - I disagree. While I agree that people shouldn’t be saying that Kali was “helping El come out of her shell”, and while Kali is a morally gray character, I feel like she isn’t as bad as you say. First of all, her backstory. She was raised in a lab without any parent figures or role models except for an abusive mad scientist, she didn’t have any parents or teachers to teach her right and wrong. She was also tortured and abused by the people working in that lab, and she didn’t have any access to healthy ways to deal with her trauma. It’s understandable that she would want to get revenge on the people who ruined her life, and the people she’s killed are all guilty, and none of them are innocent (not saying that you’re saying they’re innocent, just trying to make a point that Kali didn’t kill random civilians). I haven’t rewatched the episode so I’m not sure, and please correct me if I’m wrong, but I think Kali only knew that the man was threatened after she went in his house and was about to kill him. Kali shouldn’t have manipulated El, but at the same time it made her an interesting character, which doesn’t excuse what she did, but it is a reason why some people like her from a story-wise standpoint.
Eddie - I disagree (though I do think he’s overrated). While I agree that him selling drugs was wrong, I mainly disagree about the cafeteria scene. After he and the Hellfire Club have been bullied and mocked, it’s understandable that he would project some of his frustrated feelings at the people who are mocking him. Imagine that kids who like band, science, parties and basketball are always hating against your passions. It would be understandable if you wanted to hate on their passions too so that they would know how you feel. But what he should have done was only insult the people who insulted him, and not insult everyone in the same group as them (as in not insult all band kids, but only the ones who were mean to him etc.) While he shouldn’t have insulted other peoples passions, his point wasn’t wrong. He was saying that DND is hated, but if you like science, band, parties or basketball, you aren’t hated. I think that was his ultimate point, and if he said it like that it would be better. But the way he called basketball “balls in laundry baskets” made it a bit insulting for those who play basketball.
Angela - I agree
Jason - I agree that people shouldn’t have laughed at his death, but I disagree that he was a sympathetic antagonist.
Mike - I totally agree

Partly agree, partly disagree
Agree that he’s a little overrated and that his death was kind of predictable, but disagree that his death was unrealistic
Heavily (though respectfully) disagree

Completely agree. I think it’s overrated, and that Separate Ways is better.

Eleven, Max, Kali, Robin and Murray
I relate to how he feels different from the other groups at school, and how he likes to be himself and stand up to conformity.
Can I be Jane/Eleven?
“Steve, if you think I’m going to spend what is likely the last day of my life in the armpit that is Mike Wheeler’s basement, then you’re out of your mind. So either take me where I need to go, or you’re gonna have to tie me down, which is technically kidnapping of a minor. And if I live to see another day, Steve, I swear to god, I will prosecute.“

Eleven was feeling lost, confused, frustrated and angry throughout season 2. She needed to find out who she was, and that’s what The Lost Sister did. Eleven had great character development that episode, without it she wouldn’t be the same character she is today. I wouldn’t call The Lost Sister a useless filler, because character development is important to the plot.
@RULEZREACHF4N Wait, so if the only bad ship out of those is Mike x Nancy, does that mean you think Billy x Karen and Will x Robin aren’t bad ships? Because Billy and Karen have a huge age difference, Karen is married, and overall I just don’t think this is a good ship. And Will is gay and Robin is lesbian, so that would go against their sexualities.
I actually love The Lost Sister, it’s one of my favorite ST episodes. It had lots of Eleven character development, Kali was an interesting character that I could relate to a bit, and it was great to have an episode focused solely on one character instead of focusing on 9 in one episode. It gives more time to develop one character and focus on one storyline. To be honest, no offense but I don’t really get why Kali never appearing again has anything to do with why Kali is a bad character or why The Lost Sister is a bad episode. In many tv shows there are characters who appear once and never appear again, and people don’t have a problem with them. I think a character should be judged by their personality and actions in the episode they’re in, not by how they don’t appear in any other episodes. Because appearing more than once isn’t a requirement for a character to be a good character. Just my opinion though.
The Separate Ways moment is so underrated.
6/8
Having a screaming contest
I got 8/10
Best character: Eleven
Worst character: Dr. Brenner
Best episode: The Piggyback
Worst episode: N/A
Best season: Season 1 and 4
Worst season: Season 2
Best song: Separate Ways
Worst Song: N/A
This list really is bad. Like, Five, Two, Lonnie, Andy, Jason and Billy are worse than Brenner?? And Angela is worse than Yuri, someone who wanted to sell Joyce and Murray to the KGB knowing that they’ll probably be tortured and/or killed? This list is also downright confusing, like for Dart it says “This demodog is different from the others, he really has good in him” and then puts him at 100% evil??
