that was the one unanswered thing about season 1, I hope they answer it in the next season. my guess is they took him to the lab and told him that el could still be alive which might be why he left the food out for her idk 🤧
I think that it will be something to do with hopper’s daughter being involved with the lab and that el will get her powers back and idrk ig we’ll find out soon ☺️
