Yes! I don’t know if it’s because I only got into the show recently or I have a good gaydar, but I could see it from the first season. I mean there was obviously the idea in my head that he could be gay before I even started watching it, but I just always knew he was gay. I feel like there’s been so many times in the series where they’ve indirectly confirmed it, especially in vol. 2. So yep, he’s definitely gay
