I believe that that character has an official actor now. Caz Sumner will be portraying him. It was leaked on Caz's own IMDB confirming he is Caz in ST4.
@Averhoes perhaps I was right about him being a lab child- if this is Tanner in the video than that means that he indeed is a lab child.

Looking at her insta she is a huge stranger things fan. She is definitely tech savvy judging as she won numerous robot competitions when she was even like 10. She likely figured out coding stuff.

A spin-off / sequel should be made years later with the same actors. It could be them all coming together again as adults to solve one last mystery revolving around the upside down. Sort of an IT Chapter 2 type theme. I actually made an Idea here:

I have no idea why Barb is included as she is dead lol but I am assuming this is the 1984-1985 school year season (season 2 school year)
That would leave them at as of Summer 1985:
Steve - Summer After Senior Year
Nancy - Summer Going Into Junior Year
Johnathan - Summer Going Into Senior Year
Barb - RIP 💀
I am assuming that Billy is the same age as Steve or maybe Johnathan
