Hello, everybody! I’m a day early for this one, but I hope that’s okay.
For this week’s Character Spotlight, our spotlighted character is Mike!

Diving into the world of Stranger Things, we meet Mike, portrayed by the actor Finn Wolfhard. It’s clear from the beginning he’s the leader of the Party, and although he’s not the main character, he’s certainly one of the most interesting ones.
When we’re first introduced to Mike, he’s DMing a game of Dungeons & Dragons. He makes the Party face off against a fearsome Demorgorgon, which is certainly clever foreshadowing. Although his role has become less prominent over the seasons, he still shines when he’s on screen.
It’s no wonder Mike is the favorite character of many (including me). His loyalty knows no bounds. Although most people would never jump off a cliff for their friends, Mike did with almost no hesitation. That’s true bravery. In addition, he’s always willing to help his friends. Especially his girlfriend, Eleven (who was last wee’s Spotlight). Mike is a very optimistic and compassionate person, and is also very clever.

Favorite Scene?
Mike has so many amazing scenes. His introduction playing Dungeons & Dragons, hiding Eleven in his basement, calling Eleven on his walkie talkie for over 300 days, “Because I love her and I can’t lose her again,” and his monologue in Season 4. Honestly, I could go on forever. But which one is your favorite, and why?
