The fandom article for season 5 states that there will be no time jump between ST 4 and 5, did they change this idea?
I ship Byler too, but sadly I don't think it'll become canon
I also think he is wrong, it would make a lot more sense if the Mind Flayer was actually working for Vecna. For example, the Mind Flayer always looks like a kind of spider, and we now know that Henry Creel loved spiders
The crush on Mike is confirmed, not that he's gay. I also believe that he is, but still he could have another sexual orientation. What I don't get is why people are so concerned about this. I mean nobody's wondering any other character's sexuality (because talking strictly, none of the characters have openly said I only like girls or I only like boys, except for Robin), so why is Will's sexual orientation so relevant? I'm more concerned about him not getting hurt when Mike tells him he doesn't feel the same (I highly doubt he would choose Will after all the story he has with Eleven).
Nancy, Steve, Dustin, Lucas, Max, Eddie, Robin and Erica are in Hawkins. Steve, Dustin, Max and Robin are trying to investigate if Eddie is guilty for the death of Chrissy. Nancy is investigating the death of Chrissy with her editor from the newspaper from another point of Hawkins
If I'm not wrong, Mike just arrived to California, where El, Will, Jonathan, Joyce and Murray are too. The last two are investigating if Hopper's still alive (he's in a Russian prison)
It is possible that he had liked Will because of how he cared about him in the first two seasons (although this could be only friendship love). But even if Mike does like both Will and El, he'd have to choose
@MikeWheelerFan sadly for Will, I think you're right. I just hope Mike isn't rude to him when he declares his feelings
Perhaps my redaction was confusing. What I meant is that you're just saying your theory is right because you say it, while I'm giving some kind of evidence (we don't know if it's really evidence)
And sorry, I didn't know that a "buzzword" as you call it could invalidate an argument. If you feel more comfortable invalidating my post because of what I "attached" instead of giving me some backup of your opinion it's ok.
Um like, the social media where opinions are posted are irrelevant, so idk how is Twitter related to my points because actually I don't even have a Twitter account.
Could you please explain why does your hate for Twitter invalidate my points? You're just proving my thesis that you're not using arguments for validating an opinion, you're using your own opinion to invalidate others.
And yes, it is just a theory that has some proof or at least hints, while yours it's just because you say you're right and because that's what you'd like
@OmegaFramework What about Dustin and Steve? Jonathan and Argyle? Lucas and Dustin? Mike and Lucas?
Saying Will has romantic feelings towards Mike doesn't imply to sexualize the characters if that's what you mean. In that case, we'd be sexualizing Mike and El, Joyce and Hopper, Lucas and Max, Dustin and Suzie.
Your arguments sound rather homophobic, like if you didn't think he was gay because you wouldn't like that. Not liking something in a show is not an argument for saying it isn't canon. It's like if I said that Nancy will never be with Steve because I like her better with Jonathan. I mean, that's what I would like, but not necessarily what will happen. (Just an example)
Besides, there has been an immense amount of hints throughout the show regarding on Will being possibly gay. The byler ship doesn't exist since season 2 for no reason.
Examples:
Mike saying "It's not my fault you don't like girls"
Troy bullying Will for "acting like he was gay"
Joyce saying she argued with Lonnie because he thought Will was gay
Will hesitating when being asked to dance in the snow ball
Perhaps we need to remember that straight or gay are not the only possibilities when talking about someone's sexuality.
It's pretty obvious that he is in love with Mike, and if someone hasn't noticed it at this point, I'd suggest to rewatch every Mike-Will interaction this season (mainly).
We can't say will is gay, because he could be bi, pan, or many other things. However, it has been clearly confirmed that he's not straight.
I think just the same, the rating is very likely to change, although I really hope it doesn't. I hope, and believe, it's not necessary to be extremely gory for the story to be scary or good.
I find it interesting that Peter Ballard is credited as a main character this season, but we haven't seen him in any trailer or poster or anything. Why would it be?
Like other users, I don't think I'll be able to watch the whole volume the same day it releases, but whenever I finish it, I'll be looking forward to do anything we might need.
I'm not sure if my grammar is good enough for long texts, but I can help with the gallery and any images we need to add. And maybe I could edit or write some brief descriptions and add some details that are necessary. If that helps, I'll be really happy to do it :)
I've considered doing that too. But I think we will anyways receive information of the trailers through social media so I'm not sure if that could actually work
The watch party idea is great!
Completely. There are actually some ships of characters that haven't even ever met on their show ._.
Strangely, fans tend to ship almost all characters that have either a strong friendship or a strong hate for each other. Most of those ships are ridiculous, but as long as they're not being toxic there's no problem with everyone shipping whoever they want (unless it's real people, that's something different). So telling them that there's no evidence for the ship won't stop them, we should only be respectful with everyone as long as they're respectful with us.
