I don’t skip the intro, I skip the credits. The only credits I saw were for the last episode.
I think Hopper has a strong bond with Eleven, but so does Mike. If she had to choose who to save, I think she’d sacrifice herself. She loves them both a lot.

No, Suzie is if we’re going to blame anyone. Suzie refused to tell Dustin the number and made him sing even when she could’ve just told him the number.
