If wanted to stick to all the characters with the letter B in their name that would include The entire Byers family, Robin Buckley, Murray Bauman, Suzie Bingham, Becky Ives. Those are the characters whose names start with B who I think have a higher chance of appearing in the next season. Personally, out of all of them I would prefer if the person who died was Lonnie Byers as he's a deadbeat, but as for who I honestly think is most likely to die: I would have to say either Jonathan or Murray. Jonathan because he's so protective of Will and he likes Nancy and honestly now that they introduced the love triangle thing between Steve Nancy and Jonathan, I feel like one of the two dudes is gonna have to die for the story, and only Jonathan's name has a B in it. Murray because he devoted his life to the truth and unmasking cover ups and it would only make sense for him to die exposing the truth. But those are just my opinions on the matter.

Actually if I'm not mistaken it was confirmed that there will only be one main storyline. I could be wrong about this, I do not remember where I heard it, but I know that I definitely remember hearing that.

@Flaunting The Weird I (a gay person) never once noticed anything in Mike's behavior that might indicate him being anything other than straight. He constantly treats Will like garbage, ignoring him in favor of hanging out with El (and was clearly not looking forward to seeing Will if their airport reunion is anything to go by) And even when the whole gang was together he ignored Will and mainly talked to the other characters who were in relationships. Multiple times he's been rude to Will, choosing to lament in his own problems despite Will clearly being upset, only really interacting with him when they were facing some enemy from the Upside Down. When the Byers and El moved away Will put so much effort into maintaining their friendship but Mike just let it disintegrate. And they only made up when El was arrested and then taken by the agents to get her powers back. It is clear that despite Mike saying that Will is his best friend and that they are a team and all that stuff, Will is no longer, and never again will be, his priority or even his friend as long as El is around, seeing as whenever both El and Will are in his general vicinity he will always choose to talk to El and essentially ignore Will.

So yes, if Byler ends up canon, it will purely be a fanservice cause Mike will never care about Will more than El.

Yeah I like Billy as a character, not a person. He had a good story, but as you said, he's racist, misogynistic, abusive, and just not a great person. I'm a fan of how his characters was developed, but not him as a person.

@Romeo and Robot I'm not saying it's weird to like his character, not at all. I was just wondering what it was about his character that people liked. I'm not saying that it's weird, I suppose I just didn't see what others saw the same way. I suppose that when I was watching I never actually looked deeper into his character. And let me be clear, I like Billy now, but before season 3 he was kinda just there to me, a side antagonist. Same with Jason. To me Jason was a side antagonist. And yeah he was one of those characters that's an antagonist with moral reasoning you can sympathize with. But for whatever reason I just don't feel particularly fond of his character. I'm not saying it's weird to like his character. I'm just saying that I didn't see what you saw in him, and just wanted to know what that was. I apologize is I sounded judgy to you, I absolutely did not mean to imply that I found it odd.

I think another reason I liked Billy is because of his story arc. His character development. For me, what makes a great character is not just their personality or presence or reasonings, it's their character arc. Billy in season two was kinda two dimensional. He was a bully, cruel to his step-sister, had a huge ego, and was there to make the protagonists lives more difficult, but season 3 he got a whole character arc. He wasn't just a bully, and he was not as full of himself as he acted, and he did not bully his step sister just because. He went from a one-dimensional alpha male to this character with an amazing (though depressing) backstory, and was given a reason for being the way he was. And then he also had a redemption arc towards the end. Jason didn't have any sort of development. He was an angry, grieving teen looking for someone to blame for Chrissy's and his friend's deaths, and seeking revenge against that person. Sure he cared about the safety of his town and his friends, and yeah he tried to save Max, but ultimately we don't learn much about who he was, his backstory or anything. He didn't really have a character arc or development or anything like that. And because of that I guess he just didn't feel "real" (for lack of a better term) to me. But that's just my opinion.

I mean sure, I felt for him, and I sympathized. I liked his story arc

@RULEZREACHF4N Question: Why are you a Jason fan? I do not mean that in an offensive way, I just never really saw any appeal to his character, never found any positive traits other than he really loved his girlfriend. So I'm just wondering why you're a fan of his. Purely curiosity, I am doing my best not to come off as antagonistic or judging or anything like that and I apologize if I sound like it.

@Romeo and Robot Also Mike is just way to obsessed with El to like anyone but her. It's clear how head over heels he is. Not that that makes their relationship healthy, but it does mean he that there is no way he'll like anyone else besides her.

I just imagine Will and Robin sharing angst about being Gay and going on and on about their crushes and which celebrities they think are hot, while Steve is just there getting offended when Will says Steve is not his type, and sharing his opinions on whether he agrees with Robin's and Will's assessment on hot celebrities (cause let's be honest, Steve is probably bi) and just essentially being their supportive straight best friend. And Will and Steve have a moment where Will finds out Steve likes Robin so they bond over the both of them having a crush someone who can't ever like them back.

I personally think Jonathan is the best sibling, cause he's always been there for Will. He has always been protective of him, and taken care of him. He's always been there for Will to talk to, and they clearly have a great relationship. Mike and Nancy's relationship improved after fighting monsters together, Erica and Lucas still aren't super close despite shared trauma, and Kali used her sister for her own gain so she's clearly out. But Jonathan and Will have always had a great relationship. Not to mention how Jonathan was proactive in helping Will be ready to come out to him by verbally expressing how much he loves his little brother and how "nothing in this world, absolutely nothing" will ever change that. I am not close with my siblings or parents, none of them know that I'm not cis, and even when I came out as gay I didn't sit them down and tell them, I made a poster for my bedroom door and then made a post on Facebook. Jonathan actually sat Will down, not straight up asking him if he's gay, but instead just making sure Will knew that he could tell his Big Brother anything, and he'd always love him no matter what.

Jonathan is literally who I would want to have as a big brother if I had one.

I do not ship Mileven. I literally just posted a whole essay in the wiki about why I do not ship Mileven and will NEVER ship Byler in the wiki under the Opinions subject, so if you want a more detailed reasoning or want to discuss, go take a read. ( I will only discuss this in the comments on that post, not here)

Short version for Mileven: I think their relationship is unhealthy. It was formed through a series of traumatic events, they probably both have White Knight Syndrome, Mike is way too over protective, El got into a relationship after escaping from being a human science experiment, and has very little idea on how the world works, few social skills, limited vocabulary and grammar skills. She almost certainly doesn't know what it means to be in a relationship, or how it works or what it means to be in love. She also seems to have this idea that Mike only liked her for her powers, and lied to him for the entirety of their long-distance relationship.

I'm not saying they shouldn't be together at all, but they should break up for awhile, and just be friends, even date other people. El needs to experience the world and society without Mike being the over protective boyfriend that he is. If after, let's say a year (6 months at the very least) of just being friends and seeing how their dynamic and feelings change during that time, and El actually knows what it means to be in love and in a relationship, they are both still in love with each other, than yeah they should get back together and be happy. But the way their relationship is now is almost certainly not healthy, and will not end well in the long run.
