Like it would be weird for Bob to be watching The Goonies and have Mikey look exactly like his childhood self.

anyone who's watched stranger things knows the show often provokes a lot of emotions from its viewers, whether its death or a fight or a friendship growing distant. imagine what it would be like if joyce died - a single mother who has always done anything in her power to keep her sons safe. another factor that would amplify the sting of her death is her only recent union with hopper - imagine it was him returning home alone this time.

Also, you may have heard that lately netflix has been losing money. their subscriptions have increased because of this. winona ryder is certainly not a cheap actress to hire, and they may find it necessary to cut her out of the show to save money.

I'd be heartbroken to see joyce die and i very much hope is doesn't happen. what are your thoughts?

Ok so i dunno if you remember my semi-rant about the age difference i joyce and hop in that i said something about them being in school together and if they were as far apart in age as i thought they were then that wouldnt work now i have reason to believe that they are the same age so...

I was looking on the internet for Jopper fanart (i was trying to get inspiration for my fanfic so sue me it worked) and i came across a picture of the hawkins high school seniors and what do you know i see James (Jim) Hopper and Joyce Horowitz and i know what some of you might be thinking her name is Joyce byers but her ex husbands name is Lonnie Byers so that means when they got divorced she kept the name and i think Joyce's maiden name is Horowitz because Winona Ryder's birth name is Winona Laura Horowitz and i think that its and easter egg it just doent make sense but at the same time it makes perfect sense
