Note: These are my opinions, you are free to disagree with them. Please be civil if you disagree.
Steve Harrington is overrated.
Yes, he's a great character who's developed a lot since the first season, but he's just... idk he's just a guy. He's done plenty to redeem himself for the crap he pulled in the first season. I don't have a reason to hate him, but so many other characters are just better in my opinion.
2. Victor and Virginia Creel weren't good people
This is more speculation than anything, but parents have a bigger impact on a child's life than a lot of people might think. And I know what Victor did in the war was accidental and civilian causalities in war isn't uncommon. But how badly did Victor and his wife mess up as parents to end up with a psycho mass murderer for a son?
3. Kali/008 is an unnecessary addition
We never see her again after those two episodes she was in and then, poof. She is an interesting character... in concept.
4. The haircut need to go
Will's hair needs to go. Nothing else. Shave it off, cut it shorter, grow it out, but please lose the bowl cut.
5. Demo-creatures are predators, not vermin that need to be extinguished
Demo-creatures are meat eaters, yes. But you don't exterminate a group of lions because they eat a gazelle. Same goes for the creatures of the upside down. I'm not saying I don't hate them for killing beloved character's but Dart exists, so there's good in the dimension. And it seemed relatively peaceful before 001 crashed.
Everything points to it. Hopper said that he thinks that Agent Orange made Sara get cancer, due to his experience in the Vietnam War. I submit that cancer was a side effect. Her death was staged by the Department of Energy, and the ECG was tampered with. Victor Creel was in the army, and so was Eleven's father Andrew Rich. I don't know if it's canon that Andrew Rich was El's father, but even if it isn't, there's enough evidence. Victor could have been exposed to Agent Orange as well.
Since Sean Astin (Bob), Winona Ryder (Joyce) and Paul Reiser (Owens), Robert Englund (Victor Creel) and Mathew Modine (Brenner) all acted during the 80s, would their characters in the different movies they played be replaced by another actor since they exist as their ST character? Like it would be weird for Bob to be watching The Goonies and have Mikey look exactly like his childhood self.
Max is on god, finished. She won't be coming back. The Duffer Brothers themselves have already said they wanted to kill off Max. What really pisses me off about yall's theory about Max and if she will come back, It just you know appears to me, that none of you seem to fricken remember how Creel/Vecna/001 gets stronger- are yall ready for this? "BY TAKING PEOPLE'S LIFE FORCE AND MEMORIES."-VICTOR CREEL EXPLAINING THE "DEMON" TO NANCY AND ROBIN AT PENNHURST. Shocking what you know when you pay attention. Max's heart stopped beating for a minute, Vecna has all her memories and Life Force. Therefore, max won't be coming back. Most of you have good theories- But just think; she has all broken limbs, and blind. Really guys its not hard to pay attention to what Victor Creel said about his "Special kid".
You all have really good theories. I'm just so fed up with "MAX IS COMING BACK" Guess what, SHE WONT COME BACK.
I also do apologize, to the Moderators, for the little bit of profanity I have used, and To anyone who thinks I come off as rude when I typed this.
Hope you all have a good day

Why Was Henry Creel So Evil? What Made Him Want To Take Over The World?
(Or Kill Eleven?) (Or Kill Chrissy, Fred, Patrick, And Almost Max?)
Lets Talk In The Comments! 👇🏻
Victor Creel: Henry…
Vecna: What?!?!?!
Victor Creel: Please forgive me… I should have helped you more, loved you as the way you were… different but unique. You are my son and I will always love you.
Vecna: Oh father, I have grown beyond redemption, you were naive to think a demon haunted our family, but it was I who tormented you, mommy and Alice. Mommy always knew and she tried to sent me away, so I killed her and my sister, just as I will do with you, and you’re wrong, Victor… I am no longer your son… say hello to mommy and Alice for me…
(Proceeds to kill Victor in cold blood)
Eleven: NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
Max Will Get Out Of Her Coma... But, Will Walk With Crutches?
I Don't Know, So Let's Talk In The Comments! (That Was Vailskibum94's Line)

In Stranger Things season 4 Episode 4: Dear Billy, Robin is arguing with the man at the asylum and says that in 1978 she went to summer camp and her counselor told her the story of Victor Creel. If you don’t know Fear Street part 2: 1978 on Netflix is based in a summer camp. Also kind of strange that Ziggy and Max are played by the same actress. But most important is that Robin is played by a girl in Fear Street part 1:1994. Future crossover???

Was looking at the teaser for the teaser in September. Took stills of some images and wanted to point out some things.
In the first image we see the front page of the newspaper (the date was hard to see but it appears to be March 26th 1959. (I have pondered whether or not it is actually March 26th, 1956 because that would actually be exactly 30 years before the events of Stranger Things 4.). On the side it says "Policeman shot 12 times survives." I'm curious as to if that is connected and I am not sure... Maybe Victor committed the murders with a gun? I am kind of doubting it though. I also find it surprising that there would be police pursuit and shooting... I'm not sure... I doubt it is related, though. As for the blanked out name, I'm curious as to why it is blanked out considering it seems obvious that the name Victor Creel would be there. (...?). (Please give thoughts down below).
Next Image-
Up top it states "Prosecutors" are certain Creel is to blame, but he claims otherwise." This lines up with the headline stating: "____ claims: etc;". Once again my question is why blank it out? Potentially just them covering up bits and pieces to make it more open ended. Once again, we see a blanked out text that we can infer is covering the name Victor Creel. I'm guessing that in flashbacks or in characters discussing the past, we will find out that the town was divided on whether or not Creel was to blame. In the end of course he was locked up which means that he was found guilty (or for that matter maybe not guilty for reason of insanity as he is at pennhurst). A paragraph states:
Whoever you believe, the strange case of the Creel family has put the herebefore sleepy town of Hawkins, Indiana on the (unclear). "It is safe to say that the (unclear) (unclear) (unclear) will never be the same again." District Attorney Phillip Bradley said of the ordeal.
Very interesting indeed... it is interesting that in Stranger Things, Hawkins is depicted as very regular. I guess it has been 30 years and people have moved on. A lot of adults at the time are elderly now so the murders wouldn't be relevant. As for the quote "I thought I was dying . . . so I was flooded with relief . . . but there was also a sense of terrible grief, too." I assume this is what Creel said when he spoke out. We know he discussed the matter publicly as it stated earlier that he said otherwise.
Next Image-
It is worth to mention that after that image we see these images.
We get a closer glimpse at some text that was previously blocked out. It states "the discovery of a dead animal on the property. One evening, (unclear) (unclear) (unclear) found a rotting." Yes a lot of unclears. From this, I believe that one of the Creel's actually survived. In specific Virginia (the mother) or the daughter may have survived. In the text, it seems that they are going on to tell the story of when the dead animal was found. Unless police could interview one of the two, they wouldn't know that a dead animal was found. Which leads me to suspect that this is perhaps Virginia. She is speaking about the child who found it in the third person implying it can't be the girl. Not to mention, we don't see Virginia on the ground dead unlike the children in the teaser trailer. Also, in the previous image, the part discussing the terrible grief etc; I think is Virginia speaking. That is why it is written very maturely and with advanced vocabulary. I can't imagine Victor Creel saying such an eloquent statement after probably being arrested and charged for two counts of murder.
These next images are interesting-
It quickly zooms into Victor Creel's face once-
And then to his eyes which is a tidbit referring to the fact that the Vecna's has an imprint of eyes somehow (the dead rabbit with an eye missing) Robert Englund confirmed that his character gouges out his eye(s).
Next Image- (This image is explicit and therefore I cannot display it)
I won't even describe this one but it's well definitely messed up. The text says (from what we can make out):
The Creel Family had . . . house in Hawkins, having . . . Court documents revealed . . . had recently passed away, . . . -itance .with which he even . . . murder house. Creel claims that as . . . in, so their new residence . . . a series of disturbances . . . paranormal night after night.
Ok so not sure about the recently passed away thing perhaps referencing a family event that Police are blaming Victor to have gone crazy over. It further concretes the idea that the family was haunted by disturbing events in the house night after night leading up to the unfortunate day of the murders on March 26, 1959.
Final Image-
In this haunting image, we see the Creel family smiling for the camera. We can only presume that not long later, tragedy struck.
Overall, I hope you enjoyed this and are looking forward for this season. I had fun analyzing this stuff. Really excited for this scary storyline. Tell me your thoughts bellow and tell me if I missed anything.
This post was originally taken down because of my stupidity but is now up thanks to the lovely mod @Fisher Fan !
In the previous post @Averhoes said this and I thought this is just as vital in terms of reading as my post is.
"Stilpo - love the summary! I, like you, am very much intrigued by the fact that a "name" has been obliterated from the headlines. - I am increasingly believing that the obliterated name is NOT Victor Creel - but who it is, what it means, and why it was obliterated eludes me.
I think the "recently passed away" sentence and the following line including the word "itance" may mean that some Creel relative had recently died and left the family the house as an "inheritance"." -Averhoes
Averhoes is most likely right. If this house has history with paranormal, possibly it has been sort of a curse throughout the creel family... HENCE THE EPISODE TITLE "Vecna's Curse" potentially????
The person claimed they had followed a lot of crew members from Stranger Things 3 and had seen this on instagram and saved it only to try to track down the account again after telling a friend but couldn't find the post.
This is now quite clearly shooting in the Creel house or Pennhurst IMO. Thoughts?
Posted on @StrangerThings11 Twitter account a few weeks ago. The Claremont House is the actual location, and it's assumed to be the set of the Creel House, as in the former residence of the new character Victor Creel, who is imprisoned at Pennhurst Mental Hospital for a gruesome murder they committed in the 1950s.
This house sure looks like it's been abandoned for 30 or so years, and that would make sense if people thought it was haunted. There is no light on in the attic, but that just might be a production thing and not for the actual scene.
