Lucas and Max were asleep in the Mayfield trailer once again. Max woke up first. And she had to go to bathroom to get ready for the day. Since Max was in wheelchair and couldn't see what she was doing or where she was going, Lucas had to come to help. After getting ready and eating omlets for breakfast, Lucas and Max thought about going somewhere. "Can we go somewhere?" asked Max. "Sure." Lucas chimed in. "Where do you want to go?" He asked. "Target." replied Max. "Okay." said Lucas. "Who should we call to pick us up?" asked Max. "Steve. I'll call him on the phone." Max said. She rolled over to get the telephone with the cord. She typed in Steve's phone number. "Hello. This is Max Mayfield speaking, can you please take us to Target?" She said in a polite voice. "Yes. I'll be there soon." Steve said. "Okay, bye!" Max said politely and cheerfully as they hung up both of their phones. "Okay, Max. Let's go." Said Lucas as he pushed Max out of the trailer and outside of the trailer. Steve actually arrived just in time, and he arrived with a few special friends. Those friends were El, Mike, Dustin and Will. They all waved hi. Lucas and Max waved hi back, but they didn't really say anything. Lucas got in first, while Steve, being the mom that he is, cradled Max like she was a baby and put her in the back of the car. They all drove off to Target. When they got there, Steve had to keep an eye on his children, so he told Lucas as he put his hand on his shoulder, " Sinclair, don't you even think about splitting up your friends into little partners, or whatever. I want to keep them safe, especially the redhead over there. Got that, buddy?" When he said the word redhead, he wasn't just referring to any random redhead in the store, he was referring to Max. "Yes, Steve." Steve and the kids went to the frozen food, the fruit, the clothing, the soda and the music aisles, while Eleven and Dustin decided to look at the TVs and Max and Lucas decided to look at the music aisle. Max had a huge grin and her face lit up as she saw one of Kate Bush's albums. "Yes!" Max said excitedly as she squealed. Lucas got the album for her as she carried it in her mouth, all with a smile on her face. After shopping for hours, Mike and Will dragged Dustin and El away from the TVs. "No! We were watching that!" whined Dustin. "Yeah. we were looking at that." said El. Everyone paid for their items and Lucas and Max were dropped off back to the Mayfield trailer. "So, are you enjoying your new Kate Bush album, Max?" asked Lucas. "Totally." She said. The two were exhausted after walking on their feet for hours, so they fell asleep, holding hands.
