Rink-O-Mania

In the scene in S4 at Rink-o-mania, it takes place on March 22... WHICH IS WILL'S BIRTHDAY?!!?

Did the Duffers just FORGET, or was that on PURPOSE, because that's just sad....

How could Joyce forget her son's birthday!! At least someone should have pointed that out!

Did anyone else notice this???

It makes me so sad!!!

⚠️Trigger Warning: bullying, physical violence and blood⚠️

After Argyle dropped us off at the Rink-O-Mania, Me, Mike, Will and Jane all walked towards the roller skating rink. When we got in, it was something I have never seen before. There were many neon lights and had that typical 80s aesthetic. I saw various people skating and having fun. "This is going be the best spring break ever!" I said excitedly. "I know!" Jane exclaimed. "Can we skate now?" Will asked. "Sure, we can skate, but first, we have to wear socks!" said Jane. "Wait, you've been here before?" I asked. Jane had a nervous look on her face and laughed nervously and said, "Yeah..... I've been here before." She was blushing in embarrassment and her cheeks were a somewhat red. All four of us got our socks and skates. The socks were white with two thin neon blue and neon pink lines. The skates were also white and had neon blue laces. The bottom of the skates were neon pink with bright pink stripes on it. The brakes on the skates were white. And the wheels were blue and translucent with small pieces of glitter on them. "I'm so excited to roller skate with you guys!" I said excitedly. "Me too!" Will said. I was really excited to skate, but at the same time, I was nervous. I was worried about falling, considering the fact that I am a bit clumsy. But I overcame my fears and got on the skating rink. Surprisingly, I was pretty good at roller skating. Mike, Will, Jane and I all held hands as we skated across the rink, and we were all having a blast. "I think I'm starting to get the hang of this." I said. "I'm also starting to get the hang of it, too!" Jane said. Suddenly, the four of us were getting a little exhausted of skating. "Are there any milkshakes here?" I asked. "Yeah!" Mike said excitedly. We all got out our milkshakes. I got a strawberry milkshake, Mike also got a strawberry milkshake, Eleven got a chocolate milkshake and Will got a vanilla milkshake. We all drunk all of our milkshakes. "That milkshake was really good." I said. Mike, Jane and Will also enjoyed their milkshakes. "I going back to the skating rink to skate again. Wanna come?" Jane asked. "No thanks." Me, Will and Mike said in unison. "Okay. I'll be right back!" Jane said with a giggle and she walked off. We've been waiting for about 10 minutes, and she still hasn't come back. Maybe something went wrong. "I'm going to check on Jane." I said. "Okay." Mike and Will said in unison. I walked towards the skating rink. "Jane!" I shouted. But she wasn't there. "She said she was going to back to the rink to skate. But where is she?" I thought. Then, I overheard Angela, the school bully at Lenora Hills High School, taunting and mocking Jane. Angela wore a bright pink, short-sleeved shirt with thin blue stripes on the collar and the end of the sleeves. The shirt said "CUTIE" in white uppercase letters. She was also wearing short blue jeans and wore pastel pink socks and was wearing blue tennis shoes. I walked over and yelled angrily, "Hey, leave her alone!" Angela laughed and mockingly said, "Awwwww, the shy girl's back and she's finally standing up for her stupid friend." I then got angry and said, "She's not stupid, she's one of my best friends. Now will you just leave us alone and let us enjoy our spring break?" I asked Angela in an angry voice. Despite asking the blonde-haired girl to Ieave, she didn't move. Angela giggled and said, "Are you serious, you're gonna make me, the queen of Lenora Hills High move out of your way? Ha! You wish. I'm TOTALLY not gonna move out of your way." I glared at her with anger. "Well, I'm gonna make you move!" I said in an angry tone. My anger kicked in and hit a boiling point. I was so furious about the way she treated my friend. So I punched Angela in the right eye, causing her to have a black eye. "I punched her eye so hard, blood was leaking out of it. She fell backwards and covered her injured eye. Her cronies came to aid and comfort her she was crying. She started crying and tears were running through her eyes like a waterfall. "Why did you do this to me? How can you be so mean to me?" Angela asked tearfully. I stood back and began to cry and said with tears in my eyes, "Angela, I'm so sorry!" She ran away and continued to sob Waves of guilt, fear and sadness washed over me. " I've gone too far. I let my anger get out control. I should've handled things differently." I thought. "Jane, wait! Come back!" I shouted. She was running out of the roller skating rink in tears. I had a horrified look on my face and ran back to Mike and Will. They looked worried. "Oh my God, what happened? Where's El? " Mike said in a concerned voice. I wiped away my tears and said tearfully, "She ran out of building. She's gone." Will and Mike hugged and comfort me and told me that everything was going to be okay and that they loved me. I couldn't believe it. That was the worst spring break ever. What started off as a fun night out with my three best friends turned into a total disaster!

What did you think?

Season 4 was a really great season. The characters, the acting, the cinematography, the locations and the soundtrack. It's all good. But there's one storyline that's totally pointless, and that's the California storyline. The introduction to new characters like Argyle, for example, was pretty cool and funny. But the introduction of characters like Angela, for example, was very pointless, as she got in the way of the plot. And Eleven losing her powers was a bit sad, but very pointless, as she was born with these psychological and telekinetic powers. And Eleven getting arrested for hitting Angela at the Rink-O-Mania didn't have to happen. That was a minor incident. Angela only suffered minor injuries. Also, Mike was extremely unlikable in this storyline. In the Rink-O-Mania, He completely ignored Will and his feelings, and totally forgot about his friendship with him, similar to Season 3. Mike was also flanderized for the worst reason, just like in the previous season. But it wasn't just Mike who was unlikable in this storyline, it was El, too. The writers made her her look weak, like she couldn't stand up to the bullies and she couldn't stand up for herself. Now, I'm not saying that Season 4 is bad or anything, it's just that one storyline that kept bugging me.

I’m pretty sure someone has said something about this idea already (so credit to them :), but Mike getting in a physical or verbal fight with Jake the bully. I would absolutely die for this!!!!! Either would be for entertaining to watch! Like if Jake says something reallllllyyyy rude about El to Mikes face. Or even something about Hopper. Like for this all to go down at rink-o-mania. YESSS

*at rink-o-mania*

(el goes to get skates)

(Mike sees one of bully’s looking at El)

*el told him that she has made many friends while at school*

(Mike walks up to her)

Mike: Um hi. Are you friends with (Jane)? It’s just that I saw you looking over at her a lot.

Bully: That loser(laughs) yeah no

Mike: Hey, don’t call her that!

Bully: Oh I’m sorry(sarcastically) Why do you even care?! Who are you?

Mike: Well, I’m her boyfriend.

Bully: Your actually kidding!!!(laughs with her friends) I thought she was lying! Anyways, looks like your are “real”. And I’m definitely nottt friends with her.

Mike: Well are any of her friends here?

Bully: Um, she doesn’t have any. (laughs)

Mike: What do you mean? She told me she made tons of friends at school.

Bully: Well, she lied to you. Jane has no friends. Nobody wants to be friends with her. Ask anyone. Wow, she even lied to you!!(laughs with friends)

*el comes back*

*mike walks back over to table)

El: Why we’re you talking to them?

Mike: Um(in shock that El lied to him) I just thought they were your friends cause they kept looking over at you

El: Oh umm, not them. But I have many more at school.

*go back home*

*El goes into her room followed by Mike*

Mike: I need to talk to you.

El: about…

Mike: Those girls that I asked back there, they said that you didn’t have any friends. Even at school. That nobody wants to talk to you or sit with you at lunch other than Will. I thought you told me the truth.

*grabs Els hand*

Mike: Friends don’t lie.

El: * gets red*

That is absolutely hilarious!
