Do certain characters make you feel like cleansing society of it's toxic male stench?

Maybe i’m like the last person to realize this, but Max and Steve’s story is really sad.

The thing is, Steve was like the father figure that Max never had through her step-dad or Billy. Steve having known Billy (specifically how much of a jerk he was) probably made him feel bad for her. That’s why he was so willing to take her under his wing. This explains why she wrote him a letter and why he’s so angry and panicked when she gets attacked.

Now i’m just picturing in my mind her letter to him:

Dear Steve,

I don’t know if people tell you this, but you’re a pretty damn good babysitter. You have protected all of us from danger, or death, and i’m sorry. I’m sorry for sometimes being an asshole, or being rude or whatever. I know it doesn’t sound like it sometimes, but i’m really grateful that you’re here for all of us. Now, if you’re reading this, you’re either not accounting for my clear instructions, or i’m dead. If it’s the latter, then here’s another instruction. Don’t blame yourself. There’s no way you could’ve stopped this shit from going down. You were probably being a hero or something. Just know, you’re still a hero to me.

Man if she doesn’t come back, he’s going to be so sad 😭

I am puzzled by how the scumbag would be a mess after losing his punching bag, since when the poor fellow was alive, he was negative and destructive. I mean can't he live without venting out his "masculine" rage? Why would he take all of it out on poor Susan? Did he even really love her? And why would he want to use poor Billy as his chewtoy in the first place if he cannot live without him? I am so cross and at the same so baffled with that prick. Billy, Max and Susan deserved better. I mean why can't he stay for the woman she married? I just am so confused. If I had my way, it would not be pretty (PG-13 regulations forbid me from elaborating on this). Overall, I am so speechless at how he could even go unpunished. Because now that he has ditched the remaining 2 (Susan and Max), one can wonder how many more lives is he going to ruin and how many more families is he going to destroy just because of his anger and "masculinity" issues. Admins, I hope I am not violating guidelines but I need to let all of this out. I am sorry but I am at a huge loss of what to do and say. I am not mad (crazy) and I have every right to feel outraged by such things. If anything like this happened to someone you know, wouldn't you feel outraged or shocked? I know that I should be focusing on our heroes, but I am starting to feel even sadder for poor Max. Max could only take so much. She had to suffer at the hands of Billy who had to suffer at the hands of the scumbag. Yes, I am addressing the root cause of all of this. Max did not deserve to lose her sight and her consciousness because of all of this. And I feel that Susan was dumb enought to replace Sam with a scumbag, I mean what does she see in the scumbag that she does not see in Sam? Once again, I apologize if I have gone too far but I cannot take this anymore.

How stupid is it to fight and divorce your wife just because you lost your favorite chew toy?

I think Neil is a shit parent and doesn't know how to be more nicer to Billy who deserves better, And look yes i know Billy was asked to look after Max But Billy right Max is old enough to look after herself

Is the scumbag still considered a character who you can form your own perspective to see him beyond being evil as having relatable flaws?

I don’t see it so I think it was removed by a mod/admin. I understand that I shouldn’t need to post stuff like that bc Neil is fictional,(He was still evil) but no one could ever compare to the evils of Hitler. I saw that one person voted that Hitler was better and they didn’t missclick. They said they wanted to see the reaction. I feel like this is unexceptible. I’m not gonna name any names but who ever did should apologize to this fandom. I could be overreacting but Hitler is the most evil thing, more evil than the mindflayer. I’m still sorry for posting that, I should know better.
