Mike used to be one of, if not my favourite character. He was one of the best characters in season 1 and 2. He was brave, and a good friend, and he cared about the people around him. He was super sweet and nice. I feel like ever since S3, he's been really bratty and annoying, and all he does is always related to El and El alone. Nothing towards the plot. I really miss the old Mike, because he was such an amazing character. Through the show he obviously grows up, so I don't expect him to be a sweet little boy anymore, but I didn't exactly expect what we got. I thought when he grew up, he would at least be brave and care about his friends. Now his only purpose is basically somebody who kisses El time to time.

Also, Finn Wolfhard is a good actor so it's also wasted talent at this point. I mean, we have the monologue at the end of S4, but we still haven't seen that yet. It's the same thing with Noah Schnapp, he's a really good actor, yet the show doesn't do anything with him.

I just really miss the old characters, and I get the fact that they all grew up and they changed, but they changed in a way that doesn't fit their established characters. What do you think?
