Hawkins National Laboratory

I was watching Tudum yesterday and I nearly thought they wouldn't release anything just when Finn said there was one VHS tape left, and then I knew...

Right off the bat, I have to say that all of the characters look so much more mature for some reason. And the cinematography is so perfect that it looks much sleeker and more refined than older seasons somehow.

The montage of the previous four seasons was so epic too.

What I'm really excited for from this trailer is probably the big wall of vines shown near the end. That's probably going to be a new concept, maybe an outer edge of the Upside Down? I'm excited for that.

I also loved that it showed Mike in a leadership position again. He really needs that arc after what they did to his character last season. I didn't love the amount of new characters though... hopefully they'll have minimal roles.

Also, I can't wait to see Joyce and Robin's dynamic! And as much as I don't like Will (sorry not sorry), I'm also interested to see what his relationship with Robin will be like.

And the most epic part of this trailer is Hopper and Eleven at Hawkins Lab. Of course, it needs to end where it started. The climax is definitely going to happen at the lab.

• Jopper, Stancy, and Mileven being endgame (unless Eleven dies, which she won't based on a recent MBB interview)

• Kali returns and helps Eleven train, and maybe uncover some more HNL mystery

• More tunnels (this has been confirmed, I'm so excited)

Me: Bc every parent has a favorite child even if they don't admit it...

We all know that Dr. Brenner posed as her "Papa" before she rebelled against him, and that Hopper later adopted her. But with the knowledge that Terry Ives is her birth mother, it makes one wonder who fathered Eleven before she was abducted in the Hawkins National Laboratory. Anyone else have similar speculative thoughts?

There are so many Easter Eggs sprinkled throughout the series involving Felines and Birds. There are so many, that it has to have some sort of significance. 

Aside from Cats/Tigers/Lions, there’s also a large showcase of birds sprinkled throughout the series. Hawks, falcons, eagles. Like the owl in Nancy’s room and the Falcon chess pieces in the Rainbow room when El is playing with 001. What could these be forshadowing?

So recently I've seen a lot of videos hating on Dr. Owens, and I don't know why. I get that he's kind of forgettable but he doesn't deserve to be, but he really shouldn't be hated on like this when he did so much for the Party & co. when anyone else in his position would never. Idk if anyone remembers, but a couple of months ago I wrote these posts about Stranger Things without certain characters but I got too busy and had to stop them, but I think I need to do this for Dr. Owens.

I'll skip forward to 1984 because before then Dr. Owens had no role in the Stranger Things universe. Firstly, if Dr. Owens didn't exist, someone else from the Department of Energy (if Hawkins Lab is really run by the DOE) would be the Head of Hawkins Lab in 1984, and they would be taking care of Will's now-memories. Based on the rest of the Hawkins Lab staff, I believe they wouldn't care about Will's safety, and they absolutely would not help Hopper investigate the pumpkin patch. But the biggest problem would be when Will is taken to Hawkins Lab after his episode in the pumpkin patch. Without Dr. Owens, the soldiers would burn the Hawkins tunnel system and unfortunately, Will would die. The Mind Flayer fragment would exit its lifeless host and take up refuge at Brimborn Steelworks as we know it did. And without Will, Eleven wouldn't know that she should close the Gate. So she wouldn't. And of course, the Vecna would attack through the Mind Flayer with all of the Upside Down's forces; Demogorgons, Demodogs, Demobats, vines, everything. We know that's what he planned on doing.

I hope this showed the importance of Dr. Sam Owens in Stranger Things.

So what if not just Henry had powers, but her sister did too. and the mother reported them both? but the dad would still go to prison and Henry and Alice

would go to hnl

Henry kills his mom and sis, Brenner kidnaps him, he gets sent to HNL, eleven banishes him to the UD and all that

1983. Dr. Brenner makes Eleven inadvertently open a gate by contacting a creature called the Demogorgon. The Demogorgon massacres the lab and kills Barbara Holland, among with several other townspeople. Meanwhile, Eleven escapes into the forest and finds Benny's Burgers. After Benny is killed by Brenner's agent Connie Frazier, Eleven runs into the woods again. There she spends several days, until Brenner's agents finally find her. She is brought back to the lab. Meanwhile, the Demogorgon has opened several gates all over Hawkins, through which Henry and his army of other Demogorgons and adolescent versions of them, Demodogs, as well as the leader of the UD, the Mind Flayer, conquer the world together, killing all humans.

Basically the same as Mike, because Will doesn't exist, so Mike never goes looking for Will and never finds Eleven.

This is a new series of posts im gonna be doing, Stranger Things without each of the main characters. Character 1: Jane Hopper.

Henry is born to Victor & Virginia Creel with telekinetic powers, and kills his mother and sister at the Creel House of Hawkins, Indiana in 1959, with his father blamed and his own death faked as well. He is sent to Hawkins National Laboratory where he is dubbed "001" by Dr. Martin Brenner. A chip called the "Soteria" is implanted into his neck, stopping his powers and tracking him. He matures into an adult and works as an orderly at the lab, supervising sixteen other test subjects; Two, Three, Four, Five and so on.

This is where the difference starts.

He eventually sees potential in number Two, and thinks up an elaborate scheme to escape the lab. He tells Two how to escape, and in return, Two forces out the Soteria from One's neck. Afterwards, they are intercepted by the lab guards, which prompts One to massacre the entire lab. Two sees the incident, and when One offers Two to join him in "reshaping the world", he accepts. The two flee the lab and head out into Mirkwood. Then, they head to the nearest house they find; the Byers House. There, they find the Byers family; Joyce, Lonnie, Will and Jonathan Byers. Lonnie and Joyce were arguing, when One and Two barged into the house and killed the four. They then went into the main town of Hawkins, breaking into houses and killing people, including the Harrington family, until the police was called. Some officers were killed, but before long, One and Two were shot and killed. Investigation by the Police Chief Jim Hopper eventually led to him connecting the incident to Hawkins Lab. Dr. Brenner and his surviving colleagues were revealed and locked up in jail, replaced by Dr. Sam Owens. Hawkins, Indiana became a quiet town once again.

Everything points to it. Hopper said that he thinks that Agent Orange made Sara get cancer, due to his experience in the Vietnam War. I submit that cancer was a side effect. Her death was staged by the Department of Energy, and the ECG was tampered with. Victor Creel was in the army, and so was Eleven's father Andrew Rich. I don't know if it's canon that Andrew Rich was El's father, but even if it isn't, there's enough evidence. Victor could have been exposed to Agent Orange as well.

She is one of the most underrated and misunderstood characters in the franchise. She had one of the darkest childhoods in the show, in many ways worse than Eleven or Will. She was brought up in the lab, and then she found a family, only for them to betray her. Then she lived in the streets, alone, and she was exposed to toxic culture which turned her into what she is now. She has no parent figure, unlike Eleven and Will. And when she finally found her lost sister again, she was again betrayed. She lost her too. I don't blame her for hunting down and killing those lab people, and I don't get why some other people do, because Eleven's just as much of a murderer as she is. A justified murderer. Kali slays.

Virginia wouldnt contact Dr. Brenner, and after his family's death and Victor's imprisonment, Henry would be sent to an orphanage. Even if someday he got the chance to use his powers, he would easily be killed by the police or military.

In fact, things went irreversible when Eleven sent Henry to the Upside Down, or else he could have been stopped a long time ago. So would it be better if Henry killed Eleven or is it better that Eleven lived and Benny, Barb, Alexei, Bob, Eddie, Chrissy, Fred, Jason and so many other innocent lives died? I personally think it wouldve been better if Henry had just killed El then and there because while I dont hold anything against El ofc she tried her best and didnt kno better, all those other lives could have been saved.

I used to think that the final battle of season 5 would happen at Hawkins Lab, but since it's being demolished, I feel like it might be Mirkwood, since Will disappeared there. We all know that Will will have a much bigger role this season so it might just be Mirkwood, where it all started.
