I went with Billy because the entire reason he acts like an abusive jerk is because of his father (who should’ve been turned into one of the victims of the Mind Flayer in Season 3, but what do I know?).

At least Billy redeemed himself to save Eleven and even apologized to Max for how he treated her. Not to mention he resisted the urge from the Mind Flayer to turn Mike’s mother into one of the Flayed.

Jason was just beyond reasoning and I’m still annoyed that he got Max temporarily killed. He was so shortsighted that it was amazing he lasted until the end of Season 4.

I was rooting for Billy's redemption Arc for pretty much all of season 3. Definitely did him justice in that department.

I mean I don’t sympathize with either maybe with Billy a little

For sure Billy at least at the end of his life he apologized.

@Unicron88 for the most part I agree but I just wanna say that Jason had no idea what was happening with Max, so he had no idea what he was doing and it’s not really fair to say that he “temporarily killed” her, that was vecna.

Also, he had just witnessed firsthand some really crazy, disturbing things so it makes sense that he went rogue

I cannot believe the ratio of people who don't like Jason - he was mistaken, but he believed that he was trying to PROTECT Max, Billy, on the other hand, had pure evil intentions.

@Averhoes this isn’t asking which character you like more, it’s asking who you feel more sympathy for, and there’s a lot more to sympathize with Billy for than there is for Jason, which is why most ppl chose Billy
