@Beanstar13 No, we are not refusing the fact that Henry is Peter Ballard. To hide his identity, Brenner might have changed his name from Henry to Peter.

Its just that Owens child could be a different Peter.

@Beanstar13 - The "wife" talking about Peter's stuff was Dr. Owens' wife, and she is apparently referring to their son Peter (i.e. another person, since we know that Vecna was originally Henry Creel, and not the son of Dr. Owens).

My understanding is that the name "Peter Ballard" was used as "cover" for the real role of Jamie Bowers in pre-release pubicity, since describing him as "Henry Creel" would have revealed too much.

I know all this information... but I feel it's too much of a coincidence to keep bringing up the same name all the time PLUS why would the government need their sons school projects?? If Peter isn't Vecna/Henry/001.... and it is just his son... then I think he still would have a connection somehow.... that's too weird to just have that be in the scene and for it to have zero meaning

They were looking for information on Eleven, because they didn't believe that Vecna was the one responsible for the attacks, heck, I bet they didn't even think that Vecna was alive.

@PresidentSmith609 i feel like Owen's took in Henry in to help him... he was obviously a dark soul and Owen's was trying to make him good and Brenner took him when he realized the powers he possessed. Too much coincidence for me not to think it's connected. They had to change his name because they said he died
