I’m not sure, but it would be scary. The Duffers need scary stuff. I inagined a much larger MF —Spider Monster was in a story I’m writing. I see I being as tall as a Transformer. Here is an excerpt:
“…At a nearby airfield six attack helicopters began spinning up the rotors. They were heavily loaded with armament.
El stood still. The monster stood towering over the power lines on the other side. It was a showdown, would it try to cross the lines? El looked up, she was still trying, trying, trying. The clouds were coming in (normal clouds, not red lightning ones), but slowly. Too slowly. He moved her hand behind her back in twisting motions.
The monster stepped forward, pressing it’s attack. Power line after power line snapped and sparked. It was not injured by the electricity—sparks flew from it’s tentacles to the ground—and it moved forward relentlessly. El backed up.
Mike instinctively moved toward her but Nancy held his arm. He had a fearful expression and clearly was terrified for Eleven. El turned to see him:
“Stay back!” She shouted.
“No! No! El!,” Mike was panic stricken. Tears fell from his eyes, his, chest ached, he couldn’t think straight. The monster towered over her like sumo wrestler over a three and three-quarters inch tall Princess Leia action figure. What was she going to do?
El looked back at the dark storm clouds approaching from behind her. She held her hand in the air. The creature threw two tentacle as big as trains at her.
There was a crack of lightning. Powerful, real lightning from the sky…and then another. The monster howled. Its tentacle seemed to hit the ground right where El was standing…but…she wasn’t there. Instead Mike saw El rising up into the air…”
I imagined that Vecna would send it after her when she was away from others who could help.
