Hello guys, I'm here to say my opinion : Lucas is one of the most underrated Stranger Things' characters.
People think he's annoying and pretentious just because of two things:
In s1, he didn't like El and he didn't want to accept her. Surely because she was an unknown girl met in the wood who could have killed him
In s4, he just wanted to be a little popular because he was bullied when he was in middle school, and he didn't wanted this to go on.
While he is brave and faithful, always there for Max and his friends. He spied to the lab, he hurt the mindflayer and was the first to notice that Max wasn't well.
To conclude, the party wouldn't be the same without its ranger !
