@Maneskinfan I partly agree with you, even if I voted for Billy. They are equal to me, Billy saved them at end of S3. If you look in s2 he wasn't his best, he was abusive. I really know he has really racist and abusive dad and I still don't blame Billy for everything he did. Billy wasn't racist, even if he didn't like Lucas. He didn't liked Lucas, because he was supossed to protect Max. Put yourself in his shoes (not you Maneskinfan), if you have to protect your sister will you just randomly trust boy she never talked about. Billy never talked about anything and he was possessed by that good bad boy act. He also pretends not to care about anything and on end he saved everyone. Even if he was on mind flyer control, it must be hard to resist to on something that got you. Somebody will say that Eleven saved them by bringing Billy's memories back, but if really was that bad he wouldn't try to resist. If he was bad he wouldn't be able to resist, because mentally strong people are good people. Even if he resisted, he wouldn't say Jane if he was bad. El and others killed him, because they would move Eleven or El would move by herself. He was really underrated, both by the audience and by the characters themselves. On other side we have Jason that was kind of better than Billy. Jason was good and not abusive. He wasn't racist and he loved his girlfriend. He is underrated, too. People were blind and didn't saw he is kind. For one who will say that he was bad, put yourself in his shoes. He never know what is upside down and monsters in them. He never know that Vecna possessed and killed Crissy. Imagine if your girlfriend/boyfriend come to some creepy dude and died. Even if Joseph Quinn was really cute, Eddie is drug dealer. Creepy guy, he didn't step on Max's headphone on purpose. Billy and Jason are oposite stories. Billy was bad and have good ending. Jason was good and had bad ending. Both, but most of all Jason had good potential to be main or good character. But they didn't have fate, their fate was turned against them. As much as the characters hated them, so did the audience.
