It was a beautiful 4th of July afternoon. The sun was shining and the Wheeler siblings and their friends was about to come over soon. The Byers were eating ham sandwiches for lunch. "It's going be such an amazing Fourth of July, guys!" said Will with his mouth full. "It sure is!" said Jonathan. "Fourth of July?" asked Eleven. She was very confused by the concept of the federal holiday. "The Fourth of July is a celebration where people play outdoor games and watch the fireworks." El had a somewhat surprised look on her face and said, "Oh." El then asked another curious question. "When are these "fireworks" supposed to be set up?" "At night ,El." Joyce said. Suddenly, there was a car honk, which startled Will. It was the Wheeler siblings, Mike and Nancy. But they weren't the only ones in the car. Max, Dustin and Lucas were in there, too. Nancy parked in the Byers' driveway. "They're here!" El shouted excitedly as pointed at the car. There was a knock at the door. It was Nancy, Mike, Dustin and Lucas. "Hi" everyone said in unison. "Hi!" The Byers said back. Everyone all said hello to each other and did a group hug. Nancy gasped and said, "Jonathan!" And the two kissed. "Nancy, I'm so glad to see you! Happy Fourth of July!" Jonathan said as he kissed her on the right cheek. "Mike!" Eleven shouted. "El!" shouted Mike. The two then hugged each other and kissed each other on the lips, much to Will's jealousy and Dustin's disgust. As everyone was walking outside, Lucas asked, "What do we do first, Will?" Will pointed at the bean bag toss game and said, "Bean Bag Toss." Mike, Nancy, Lucas, Max, Dustin and Will all took turns playing the game, Max won. Then, they played ring toss. Everyone all took turns, and this time, Will won. Lastly, Nancy, Dustin, Lucas, Will, Mike, Max and El all started a water balloon fight. Will then threw a water balloon at Joyce, who was reading a fashion magazine. "Hey!" shouted Joyce as she reluctantly joined in the fun. Another water balloon was thrown, and this time, it was at Jonathan, who also reluctantly joined. After the balloon fight, everyone then took a shower. After everyone took a shower, everyone ate grilled steak with mashed potatoes on the side for dinner. After dinner, everyone all pointed at and watched the fireworks in awe, including Eleven. Mike laid down and put his hands behind his head sighed in a relaxed way and said, "This is the most perfect Fourth of July. No Mind Flayer, no chaos from the Upside Down and no nonsense. All I got to do with you and all of our friends was spend time with each other, and there isn't any other person I'd spend time with other than you." El blushed and smiled with happy tears in her eyes, and said, " Mike.....thank you." Mike and then hugged and later kissed, causing Will to turn green and feel somewhat sick. "Will, what's wrong?" asked Joyce, who was concerned. "Mom, I feel sick. I feel like I'm gonna throw up." Suddenly, after seeing Mike and El kiss again, Will then threw up in a paper bag. Anyways, after everyone finished watching the fireworks, everyone said their goodbyes, and there were some hugs and, of course, some kisses.
The End!
Happy Independence Day! 🎆🇺🇸
