Max just waking up from the coma I think is most likely and what I hope the writers go with for her character. I don't think they would kill her after El went through all the trouble of saving/reviving her and just keeping her in a coma is basically the same as killing her because then she's just an expensive prop. Having Max wake up with superpowers would be tacky, in my opinion, because that's what makes El so special and valuable, because there's no one like her. (And I'm not really sure how they could justify giving her powers just because she was in a coma) Also, having Max forget everything I think would also be a waste of time, just because she would have to have everything reexplained to her before the end of the season, which feels redundant. I don't know if there are any other options for her character besides whats listed, but I'm interested to know what other theories could be!
