If you’re willing to take someone else’s life for the color of their skin, why is it too harsh for you to meet the same fate for actual crimes?

Killing someone because he kills? That doesn't make us any better than the murderer.

I guess it was fine when the Hammurabi code at Mesopotamia was invented 4000 years ago, but it seems quite out of date nowadays.

I'm saying that if Steve hadn't been there, Lucas would've died. I believe Billy easily should've gotten the death penalty for that.

^^I agree that the death sentence should only ever be used in extreme cases -- serial killers, for example -- and that Billy wasn't deserving of it, especially as the murder didn't even happen to begin with. It's immoral to take someone's life for a crime they didn't commit.

@Fisher Fan legally no. But morally, Billy is no better than a serial killer as he tried to murder 4 different people. So why doesn’t he deserve it, since he only didn’t kill anyone because of Max.

Hummmm yeah I guess the American law is that way. I'm Spanish, and we do not have this kind of sentence here.
