It kinda depends, the majority has always been really kind but there’s also a few groups of people I’ve seen that are really disrespectful towards others’ opinions. I guess it’s like that with every fandom though, so in general I would say no.
As with every fandom, it depends on whom you talk to. There will always be toxic people among every group, but the group itself is usually fairly balanced in their opinions, and respectful of others.
