The Duffer Bros reveals that Stranger Things 5 will be a jump time which means it wouldn't be set in 1987 as the rest of the season are set one year later. Stranger Things 5 needs to be set in 1989 cuz it's the last year of the 80s like the end of the decade and needs to keep the 80s nostalgia/memories and also will be the year that the kids will graduate from high school. If it was set in the early 90s it will be hard cuz they would be in college, they might go to different colleges than what they're applied for, and as you get to college, you make college friends. It will be hard to manage time with the group and their college friends, so my Stranger Things 5 predictions is that it will be set in 1989. Some of you guy might not agree with me since it's my own Stranger Things 5 predictions and it's individual choice of what year should Stranger Things 5 like it should be set in 1989 or early 90s.

For me, I love the 90s too, but Stranger Things is more 80s, and if season 5 is set in the early 90s, it will be like That '90s Show (sequel series to That '70s Show)
