Yah, she was bullied and i agree, but not in this way

Personally, I don't think Jane deserved to be arrested. This was only a minor incident which did leave a small scar across Angela's face, but it didn't severely injure her. Angela would've been knocked unconscious with that roller skate. Jane didn't have to use violence in order to solve the bullying because violence is NOT the answer.

Keep in mind that we as the viewers are aware of Angela’s bullying of El, but the police are not. From their standpoint, a girl has been attacked with a skate for no reason and has a cut on her face. That’s potentially a case of assault and is cause for arrest. Also, even though Angela was treating El horribly, I don’t think that was an appropriate response. If Angela attacked her physically then I’d say fair enough, but one of the things that El needs to work on is not getting so aggravated by what people say. It was understandable for her to be angry at Angela, as I have been bullied before and I know what it feels like to have people saying horrible stuff about you. But, my parents always taught me that the best way to combat bullying is to confide in the people you care about, ignore the bullies (because eventually they’ll realize you’re not giving them any attention and move on), and most importantly, never EVER get violent unless it is in self-defense. I wish El took this advice and didn’t lie to people close to her like Will and Mike. I feel that if she had told them earlier, then she would’ve gotten proper advice from people who have been through bullying before and know what to do to fight it. Hitting Angela was just unnecessarily violent and got her in trouble.

I agree. Hitting Angela was very unnecessary and uncalled for. She (Jane) didn't have to hit her in the face. If El hadn't been lying to Mike and Will about the bullying, the bullying would've stopped earlier. And yes, Jane should've never used violence to hurt Angela. I'm sure that incident left not only a physical scar on Angela, but an emotional and psychological scar on her as well.

El wouldn't even answer why she hit her. She obviously seemed like she was asking to be arrested.

Ngl I don't feel bad because Eleven hit Angela with a skate, maybe it wasn't the way, but Angela deserved it, she planned to humiliate her in front of everyone. The scene brought to her by the police is highly exaggerated, first of all because she is only a 14-year-old teenager, and they treat her like a dangerous criminal. hahahaha Obviously Eleven had to clarify the situation of what happened, but with a lawyer and someone responsible for her. Eleven had to be responsible for what she did, but sending her to prison for this is stupid. Obviously everything was a setup to go looking for her, but let's think that if this were real, they treated her badly because she is a 14-year-old girl who has not committed any crime before. Even Joyce would have problems because he left them alone.

THAT BISH 100% DESERVED TO BE SMACKED IN THE FACE. Like when El was giving her presentation she mentioned Hopper who was presumed dead. Then Angela says the the roller rink ‘Sorry you can’t cry to a teacher, i guess you’ll have to cry to your dad instead, oh wait, can’t do that either’. That is the nastiest thing to say to someone. Like Hopper didn’t want to ‘die’ but Angela’s dad probably left for the milk.
