She didn’t grow up in a social world. She was literally bred birthed and raised to kill freaky monsters, it’s familiar to her and comes more naturally because of her abilities. Then she gets thrown into a new world to function in, without supernatural abilities. She craves peer validation because of her trauma of getting bullied in the past, and her lack of human contact growing up, so of course she’ll be impacted by Angela’s actions
