So I've heard of a theory that Karen Wheeler is the brother of Vecna/Henry/001 (Victor Creel's daughter) but how can this theory be true if the daughter died? Can someone please explain?

Y’know that reminds me of that theory that Leif is Sprig’s mom
Well, the writers decided to make her Henry's older sister, which was ridiculous. Brenner would have to have knowingly lied about her death (like he did with Henry) and I see no reason for him to do that. Why even charge Victor in that case?
I doubt that's true
It was never stated that she even had a brother to begin with
We barley know anything about the parents
I would be shocked if this true
It makes no sense - and I do not believe that there is any basis for it.
Victor Creel returned from the war in 1945 and got married. He had a son born 1947 (Henry) and a daughter who was a year or two younger (Alice)(I know that the fake newspaper used in promotional material says that Alice was 15 when she died, but that makes no sense in the time line).
If Victor had an older daughter (Karen) - she would have been in the early 1940's. She would have been in her teens when the family moved into their new home in Hawkins - so where was she? And she would likely have been conceived and born while Victor was away in the army = that's a neat trick!
We never see her death, just her body. And her bones don't look broken and she still has eyes (maybe). So she could've just ended up in a coma, like Max. Also, Vecna chose NANCY to show everyone, if he was truely trying to get to El, he would've used Max (because Mike was out of town). And he then shows Nancy her family - mike, karen/alice, holly (not ted because even vecna knows that he sucks) - dead. Also in the season 4 promo poster, Karen was the only "side character" to get a poster and the location for her's was Vecna's House.
Murrary, Joyce and Hopper had Russia. Mike, Argyle, Will and jonathan had california. Max, Erica, Lucas, Eddie, Nancy, etc. had Vecna's house. But so did Karen and she was never in the Creel house... as an adult.
Also the timeline fits. If she was fifteen in 1959 and had Nancy in 1967. Nancy says that she started a family, young - and she would've only been 23.
Not to mention that Henry/001/Vecna was taken to Hawkins Lab, one of the only two hospitals in Hawkins. If they could get control of Will's autospy, they could get control of Alice's and keep her there. Maybe erase her memory or something.
@HyllanaAesyalaBN - problem - the Creel family's daughter was named Alice. Karen Wheeler is "Karen".
A fake newspaper article about the murders released as part of the pre-season publicity said that Alice was "15" but the actress who actually played Alice (Livi Burch) was about 11 when they filmed her scenes. I would suggest age 11 for "Alice" would be canon.
But what if Alice changed her name to Karen to hide that she was associated with the Creels?
@Wheeler29 - possible. Back before season 4 was released, I actually promoted that theory (or a variation of it) on this board. I thought it might be likely that someone in the existing cast had some link to the Creel murders. So, I speculated that:
(a) Alice Creel survived, was adopted, and then got married, and ended up as Joyce Byers. (at the time of this speculation, we did not know Alice' s first name).
(b) Henry Creel survived, was adopted by a family named Hopper...(again, we did not know Henry's first name).
(c) Either Joyce or Hop was involved in (in some fashion)/was a witness to, the Creel murders.
Alas, I was wrong....
I think it is pretty clear that Alice is dead - or at least as dead as all the other victims of Henry Creel, whose consciousness appears to have been stolen and trapped inside Henry in some fashion...
What do you think?
