Shipping someone who is confirmed to be gay with the opposite sex is not ok. like you can ship who you want, but up to a point. robin is confirmed to be lesbian, so she should not be shipped with a man.

Well pple ship canonically straight characters with characters of the same sex. I don't think there's a problem with that. Pple ship whoever they want. It doesn't mean their ship is true or canon but pple just like having fun. Let them ship whoever they want, as long as they aren't forcing their ideas onto others.

^I have a few rules involving with shipping, one of them is do not ship someone against their sexuality unless it’s fanon and you know it’s not canon at all, there is absolutely no reason to treat your fanons as canon regardless of any ship that isn’t canon in the show.

The other rules are

Absolutely no incest regardless of canon or fanon

Absolutely no pedo regardless of canon or fanon

No shipping 2 people who seems to hate each other unless it’s fanon

No shipping 2 people if it doesn’t make sense whatsoever unless it’s fanon

Basically what I’m saying is that if this person is like making a fanfic or something and Robin is straight and likes Steve that’s completely fine, but if they treat it as canon that’s not ok at all. And at that point they aren’t a true fan.

But we don't truly know who's straight, do we? unless they say they are, we never know for sure so it's fine to headcanon their sexuality. however with robin, she outright said she was gay so she can't be shipped with a guy.

Well I mean...yeah. Characters don't always outright announce their sexuality. But we get an idea based on their interactions and behaviour with others ig. My point is that pple ship all characters. Regardless of their sexuality. Pple have their headcanons and as long as they aren't being disrespectful or problematic abt it, I don't see any problem.
