So, I have been giving this one a lot of thought. Will is the only one in the group who doesn't, and hasn't, had a romantic relationship. He also seems really jealous around Mike and El when they are together.

At first I thought this might be because he doesn't like being a third wheel, but now that I think about this I think that he may have a thing for Mike.

This would also explain why he lied about El commissioning the painting, because I think we all can agree that it was Will who lied, because he was trying to hide his feelings for Mike as El's because he doesn't want everyone to know.

Obviously he is. This shouldn’t even need to be questioned, after volume 2 it is a fact that he is gay

@Toothless649 fr it was brought up in those other posts today and i was shocked to see that there were like 5 people here who thought he was straight. id of thought v2 would’ve been enough to prove it 100% but because he didn’t straight up come out and say “i’m gay” they think he’s not.

It’s really weird that so many people can’t tell from obvious hints and literally need a 1000 percent confirmation in-universe. First Billy being racist, now this.

@Romeo and Robot EXACTLY! I feel like they're just trying to avoid the thought of Will being gay at this point. For some reason, people can't bring themselves to realize that gay people are real and existed back then.

Also, I think the argument of gay characters existing in the eighties being unrealistic is dumb. There are literally monsters from another world in the show, but for some reason, people believe Will being gay is unrealistic.

What do you think?
