The song for the trailer is separate ways (worlds apart) by journey and it fits billy and max perfectly and the lyrics seem to suggest that max is definitely going into the upside down, probably by herself, to search for billy. And the lyrics, “how we touched and went our separate ways,” makes me feel like max got some of the upside down power that billy had somehow.
