Is Robin gay, or bi? I was rewatching s3 and she held hands with Steve when the Russians came and she seemed to have a good chemistry with him. idk.

In an interview with Wall Street Journal Magazine, Maya explained, "Throughout filming, we started to feel like she and (Steve) shouldn’t get together, and that’s she’s gay. Even when I go back and watch earlier episodes, it just seems like the most obvious decision ever."
The bathroom scene is clear about that too, when Steve realises that what Robin has been trying to say is that she is attracted to the same sex. As she tells Steve that she likes him when he confesses his affection to her, and then she brings up Tammy to clarify to Steve that him being male is the reason for why she can't have romantic feelings for him and only like him. It's also kind of funny when you compare this to Murray's comment in ST2, "We like Steve, but we don't love Steve." Steve keeps failing to find romantic love.
