Not for long! I've met someone (online) who is currently meeting with the realtor and who has serious plans to purchase it. She told me that if they accept her application, she'll revamp the inside to match the interior shown in the series.
Well theoretically. But if this person's plan comes through, she also said that she'll open up the house to the Duffers whenever they want to film there. So you never know!
That would be wonderful if it happened! I have been very fearful that some developer would buy the house (built in 1900 by the way) and bulldoze it for a development.
If the buyer is able to purchase the house and revamps it to look like the Byers house on the inside + the Duffers accept her offer to use the house some more (in Stranger Things 5 perhaps) she could meet a number of members of the cast!
I know! I was overjoyed when I heard her plan. :) It's encouraging to know that it will be going to safe hands, assuming she gets the place. And yes, it would put her in a very strategic position for meeting the cast!
I loved that plan! What if they can make the Byers House like a place to tour with the fans to see the celebrities of Stranger Things. Since they need to make Atlanta a place where any fan can go and visited on the inside? Like they haven’t seen before like the Wheelers House and Hopper’s Cabin, Byers House. The woods as the Upside Down. I think they should make Atlanta a tour for the fans of Stranger Things.
