Dude, for all of you choosing Mike, El would have been left in the woods to fend for herself if he hadn't taken her in. The story would have had a much different outcome!
No kidding. She probably would have died. Or been recaptured.
I'm guessing recaptured. Connie already knew she was around, as she saw her at Benny's. So all she'd need to do is track her through the woods.
You know, I change my answer. I would make El disappear. Poor Benny.
